terms of service

1. acceptance of terms

by accessing or using dev_fix ("the service"), operated at devfix.io, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. if you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. description of service

dev_fix provides on-demand website bug fixes and small development tasks. we fix issues submitted through our platform, typically within 24 hours. we do not take on large-scale projects, redesigns, or ongoing retainers unless explicitly agreed upon.

3. accounts

you must create an account to use the service. you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. you must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. payments and refunds

• all payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• prices for fixes are provided upfront before work begins. you will not be charged until you approve the quoted price.
• if we are unable to resolve your issue, you will receive a full refund.
• refund requests for completed work are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. your responsibilities

by using the service, you agree to:

• provide accurate information about your website issue.
• grant necessary access to your codebase or hosting environment for the duration of the fix.
• ensure you have the authority to grant such access.
• revoke access credentials after the fix is complete if desired.

6. intellectual property

all code written as part of a fix belongs to you upon payment. we do not retain ownership of any code delivered to you. the dev_fix brand, website, and platform remain our intellectual property.

7. limitation of liability

dev_fix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific fix in question.

8. confidentiality

we treat all code, credentials, and project details you share with us as confidential. we will not share, publish, or use your information for any purpose other than completing your requested fix.

9. termination

we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. you may close your account at any time by contacting us. outstanding payments remain due upon termination.

10. changes to terms

we may update these terms from time to time. continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. we will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform.

11. governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the state of California, United States. any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sacramento County, California.
